TRANSLUCENT WALKWAYS

This type of system gives the designer a natural daylighting system with a high quality architectural appearance.  When a designer wants to make an architectural statement with a walkway this is the system that is chosen. The column and beams are typically aluminum tubes (maximum 12’ on center).  The designer may also use tube steel or concrete columns to support the walkway aluminum self-supporting system and translucent panels.  Typical projects are hospitals/medical centers, schools and office buildings where buildings and parking areas are not connected.
